How does it work?
By broadcasting digitally over traditional radio waves, a single frequency is now capable of delivering content in crystal clear sound. All you do is tune in to your favorite station and your HD Radio receiver will automatically lock into the HD signal for that station.

Is an HD Radio broadcast the same as Satellite Radio?
No, HD Radio technology enables local AM & FM broadcasters to offer better sound and additional digital content for free. Satellite radio offers select programming across a national footprint for a monthly subscription fee.

How do I listen to HD Radio?
For you to listen to HDradio, your radio needs to be able to receive the digital signal through a certified digital receiver. HD radio receivers are available at local electronic retailers and online. Currently, there are  New Car, Auto Aftermarket, Home, and Portable options available to you.

Do all radios receive an HD Radio Signal?
No, in order to receive the digital signal, you must have an HD Radio receiver. Currently, there are New Car, Auto Aftermarket, Home, and Portable options available.

Does my car have HD radio?
Many newer model cars –domestic and foreign –come equipped with HR radio receivers. To see if your car has an HD radio receiver, you can check here or your owner’s manual.
